30/60/90 Template for Moving into a New Management Position

I'm looking into new opportunities and may transition into a Senior Management position running multiple software development teams.  This would be a newly created position tasked with rebuilding the existing structure and converting the teams into a more efficient development organization.  Does anyone have suggestions for a 30/60/90 template for how to appraoch this situation?  Thanks.

The book The First 90 Days has a pretty good template for starting a new job.  I'd treat this almost like starting brand new and use the book's guidance.  I transitioned to a new job 3 years ago and it really helped me to hit the ground running and establish credibilty quickly.

Thanks for the tip.  I requested the book from my local library system and should have it in my hands in a day or two.  If I like it, I'll buy it on Amazon.  Thanks again!
