Can anyone guide me about talent retention strategy?

The single biggest thing that worked for me to keep my best talent is to have weekly O3s and really develop a relationship with my directs.  This allows me to understand which work I can delegate to them that is meaningful to them and engaging.  In tandem with this, I am as transparent as possible about the results and targets of the business, how their contributions matter and their performance/development goals.
im sure there are more formal ways that lots use.  I chose to keep my approach as simple and as close to the MT guidance as possible because it works well.
