I am willing to host at the MillerCoors office (250 S wacker) right across from union station pretty much anytime this month for a kickoff. We can have a meeting and then sample some product at the onsite pub.

Can't tell for sure, but it looks like a Thursday toward the end of the month could be possible. I like the concept of the hosting location, just wish it wasn't so far south (from my Des Plaines / Rogers Park perspective).

I work at the Glenview Public Library, right off the train station. I might be able to arrange for the use of one of our meeting rooms, if all you are lacking is a location.

The Effective Manager Conference will be happening on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in the northern suburbs, and Dani has graciously allowed me to invite the Chicago-area locals to join in on the end-of-day Q&A session, then spend some time together over snacks/drinks. Since this has worked well with international conferences, I thought I'd throw it out to Chicagoans.

Location: Crowne Plaza Chicago - Northbrook (2875 N Milwaukee Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062)
Time: Meet ~5:00 at the hotel lounge, then join the EMC folks at 5:30 for the Q&A session. If you can't get there so early, come anyway - we'll move back to the lounge/restaurant for food and more conversation ...
If anyone wants to take the train up from Chicago, I'll be driving from the western 'burbs and could pick up 2-3 people from the Metra-Prospect Heights station. (The hotel also has a shuttle.)
Hope to hear from you - we've got a lot of M-T fans in Chicago, and it'd be great to meet more of you in person.
