Hello fellow managers! First, thank you Mike and Mark for the wonderful service that you have provided. There is no doubt that I am a better manager because of your work. Here’s a little about me: I grew up in a small town in southern California (yes, one still exists) and joined the U.S. Marines Corps out of high school. My MOS was in logistics and I was attached to the 3rd AAV battalion in Camp Pendleton, CA. After leaving the service I earned my BS in business management from a great school on the central coast of California. Now I work in for a large food company in Northern CA as global products sales manager. My most recent career development involves being accepted to an EMBA program at SSE in Stockholm Sweden. The program starts in early 2009 and I am feverishly trying to find employment and learn a little Swedish! I look forward to interacting on the forums and meeting MT managers from around the globe. Cheers! :D

Hello sgtfun, welcome to the forums. I live just south of Sacramento. Glad to have another Nor Cal member here.

Best wishes on the EMBA programs!

As a former visitor to Sweden--it is lovely there, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it very much!

But--beware the pickled herring heads. *shudder*

RasmusTQ: Tack, det låter bra! Jag skulle definitivt vilja träffas någon gång i Stockholm.
