If there are any photographers attending, I am planning a dawn shoot on Friday around The Mall to capture the monuments and as much else as I can before the light gets too harsh. I'd love company if there are any kindred souls traveling with their gear.

Hey, what a great idea. I didn't bring my camera because I thought I wouldn't have time to get out to 'the mall' -- forgot about sunrise (doh!). Perhaps I could go and 'photograph' vicariously :D
