Hi M-T : I'd like to suggest a follow-up to this podcast. _Manager to Direct - How to Apologize_ -- For each DISC type of direct. Conflict is inevitable and shouldn't managers show a good example of how to take responsibility and apologize in a professional way, when the manager has played a role in the conflict ? Please, could you recommend guidance about how a Manager can and should apologize to a Direct. It may seem silly but many of us managers have a hard time finding the right words to apologize without sounding weak or obsequious. Or without sounding insincere. i.e. too little of an apology Or without compromising our Role as manager. i.e. too much of an apology. Please give examples of various situations : Manager did not provide enough - or the right kind of - information to the team, thus resulting in a team (or team member) Failure. Manager damaged the relationship with a Direct, with a harsh or inappropriate verbal word. Manager damaged the relationship with a Direct, with a harsh or inappropriate written email. Manager damaged relationship with a customer or other organizational executive, thus having a negative impact on the Team (or a team member). Manager attempted a new initiative that failed, or did not complete a key task that caused a Team (or Team Member) failure. Conflict is inevitable and shouldn't managers show a good example of how to take responsibility and apologize in a professional way, when the manager has played a role in the conflict ? OMG -  I have listened to every publiclly available 'cast.  I totally forgot about this one...
Thank You for the reminder.
And ---
I apologize for not searching on the keyword " apolog* " first before posting.

* Addtionally,  I still think that a follow-up about recovering from conflict by DISC would be a good 'cast.

Thanks
